Nothing I did was good with this painting. I spent several weeks looking at it and hating it!! Every change I made was just making things worse.. I can say I was kind of desperate with this, nearly threw it away few times!

And then inspiration came to me.. wanted to change the main image…. so i drew on top and covered it with white. It was looking good, but then.. the sharpies I used previously came up !!! Tried Liquitex paste, but the bloody sharpies will still come to the top of this too! So needed to paint it dark grey and then on top of the grey paint the white… It was finally great!!

To bring the background I used nail polish! You will see in the video I am rubbing cotton and colours are coming back… so yeah, cotton and nail polish were my saviours this time!

My first trilogy!!! Oh, I really really enjoyed doing this. Every single decision came to me at that very moment. It was refreshing, and smooth.. Took me few hours but I couldn’t stop!

My hairdresser bought this painting.. he understood the mixed emotions and complexity behind this painting.
